Ricoh DC-3G AUCNET Edition (1998)

 Somewhere in 1998 appeared a special edition of the Ricoh DC-3G, the so called AUCNET edition. My colleague Andrew from Australia pointed me towards this camera. We've done some extensive research and came up with..... nothing! AUCNET is a popular japanese conglomerate with many different businesses like auction platforms, IT platforms, digital products and more. So I think that the DC-3G AUCNET was a gift one received after maybe signing a deal with AUCNET. Sort of a japanese equivalent to the AOL PhotoCam (Plus)? I can only guess but this sounds the most plausible.
