Hitachi Maxell Compact Eye Pudding M1 Prototype (1999)

In November 1999 Hitachi Maxell suddenly announced they were going to market a digital camera with an unusual sounding name. The Hitachi Maxell Compact Eye Pudding M1. A digital camera in a transparent blue design. I am not kidding you, this was the real name according to the press release. The design was really exceptional and interesting. It would certainly have been a neat little camera to own if Hitachi Maxell had marketed it.
