Fujifilm digital In-Printer camera (1998)

The prototype for the Fujifilm FinePix PR21. Shown at the Photokina '98, it consisted of a digital camera with a built-in printer. Pictures would be displayed on the LCD screen and could be selected for printing. The film would be the then newly developed Instax Mini silver halide instant film and the printing unit in the camera was a vacuum fluorescent print head. Prints were credit-card sized (sounds familiar?). To support the camera there was the Fujix Instax printer that could accept image data via parallel port cable or infrared interface.
