Chinon VMC-1 (1991)

The Chinon VMC-1 was a digital card camera that was only shown as a prototype. The camera utilized a 3MB SRAM card to store 30 field images by means of an adaptive DPCM type of data compression. Chinon was also planning to introduce a VMP-1 digital image processor. Maybe even beating Fujix as being the first company to market an SRAM card reader.
