Pentax Digibino 100 (2001)

This is the world's first pair of binoculars with integrated digital camera. The DigiBino 100 paired a 0,8MP digital camera with a pair of binoculars with 7x magnification. Because of it's technical and optical limitations it wasn't really a substitute for a "good pair of binoculars". It still was cute thing, aim, watch and shoot! The camera sported USB connectivy and it had 16MB of internal memory that could hold up to 100 images. Also remarkable was the impressive range of shutter speeds from 1/8,000s to 1/30s. The camera was succeeded by the DigiBino200. Apparently three different versions existed. A silver-toned model with "DigiBino 7x" written on the back of the LCD screen, another silver-toned one with "DigiBino 100" on the back of the screen and a black DigiBino 100. Steve Sanders of Steve's Digicams has an extensive review about this hybrid camera, go check it out:
