Samsung SDC-100 (1999)

Shown on the IFA exhbition in Berlin, Germany 1999. The Samsung SDC-100 was not demonstrated but one could read about it in a catalogue. This is (or was) common practice on tech fairs when a mockup or real model wasn't available. The camera was built under the new line name N•E•X•C•A which stood for Next Generation Digital Camera. The camera was made entirely of metal and what stood out was the handle bar on the right side of the camera which was quite an unusual design back then. The picture shows the '99 prototype without the NEXCA logo on it. Where the camera was marketed is uncertain. The only ones I could find so far were sold in the Ukraine and in Portugal.
