Fujix DS-565 (1998)

The Fujix DS-565 was the successor of the DS-515 and improved in many ways. It was also announced by Fujifilm 1998-06-15 and an OEM model of the Nikon E3S. It had all the features of the DS-560 but could now shoot up to 3 frames per second (the DS-560 did 1 frame per second) but this was limited to 12 images. Compared to the DS-560 this was the only difference and consumers had to pay $1,500 more for this feature!
