Trust PhotoCam Plus (1999)

I can only assume it was marketed in 1999, similar OEM models were. It might even have been marketed in early 2000, but definitely not before 1999. There is no record as to when Trust marketed this one. The Relisys Dimera clone however was a strategic failure as it was marketed in a time where CR123 batteries were still expensive and only a handful cameras used that dreadful serial flash module. There was no chance you could conveniently download images from the card as no cardreader existed. You always had to wire the camera to the computer with a serial cable. Resolution was also very low, only VGA, in a time when 2MP cameras were already surfacing.

Strange enough, AOL marketed a camera with the exact model name, the AOL Photocam Plus. Both cameras were totally different however.
