MicronEye Camera (1983)

The MicronEye Camera from Micron Technology Inc. was also announced 1983 and is a rarer version of the MicronEye Bullet digital camera. It's basically nothing else than the camera head and circuit board cramped into one rectangular body. This allowed the camera to be placed more than 50 feet away from the computer (the Bullet could only be placed up to 5 feet away from the computer). Instead of the proprietary Microneye interface, the camera's ribbon cable had a serial interface.
