Maginon DC-800 (1999)

A common problem with OEM models is that they were not always announced properly. They just appeared on the market. Same goes for the Maginon DC-800. It's an OEM Pretec model. Maginon is a german brand name and owned by supra electronics.

Some of these OEM models were marketed in 1998 and partially re-issued in 1999 with USB connectors. It was Maginon's first digital camera and marketed in 1999 since it already had an USB port and it's first review was in a 1999 magazine. The images above are the only ones on the internet and were exclusively licensed by supra electronics.
