I/O MagicImage 420 (1999)

The I/O Magic MagicImage 420 digital camera differend from many other OEM models as it was built into a somewhat transparent body. According to their website it was called 'black iMac style design'. The camera, like all those Minton clones, was simple to operate and did not have much features. Among the features were things like 'versatile built-in flash' and 'macro mode for close-in pictures', a self-timer of 10 seconds and a serial interface. The camera was very picky with Smart Media cards and could only handle 2MB cards and most likely only the 5V versions. Very common for that kind of camera model. Images were stored as JPEG files.
