Dycam 10-C (1995)

The Dycam 10-C was introduced in July of 1995. A color digital camera with a power zoom lens and external memory card slot. Intended to provide a solution for professional markets requiring the use of images with documentation such as property appraisal, insurance claims and law enforcement. In the February 6, 1996 issue of PC Magazine it won the prestigious PC
Magazine Editors Choice award for digital cameras selling at less than $1,000. Although Dycam continued to sell the camera for a while, they actively searched for a follow on product to serve this market segment but did not succeed.

Dycam supplied the camera with a thread ring so that converter lenses could be attached to it. Very few models were sold as Dycam did not spend fortunes on marketing campaigns.
