Casio QV-8000SX (1999)

Together with the QV-2000UX/Ir, Casio also launched the QV-8000SX on 1999-08-26. Inside was a 1.3MP sensor and the camera also featured 32x zoom (8x digital, 4x optical). An optional tele converter and wide angle lens were also available. Most impressive was the macro mode that could capture items as close as 1cm. According to Casio it was the industry's first digital camera to feature a 64 second bulb exposure, ideal for night scenes and dark settings. The camera also sported a lot of manual exposure settings, a wired remote contol, the famous swivel lens, a rapid shooting function of one second between shots, continuous shooting and much more.
