Canon CE300 (1995)
The Canon CE300 was Canon's first digital camera. Not a point-and-shoot one but a sort of notebook camera especially designed for the popular IBM PC110 laptop. It had an ISO of only 100, saved files as JPGs, white balance TTL and a macro mode. The camera came in a plastic case with dedicated software. Apparently only sold in Japan and the software only written for DOS. During operation of the camera, the preview image changed every 10 seconds so a fuzzy movement on the screen was to be expected. The swivel lens could be rotated 180°. In 1996 this camera won a Good Design Award.
