Sanyo SVC-05 (1989)

The Sanyo Stillvision SVC-05 was aimed at the general photographer and had the look and feel of a regular film camera. It had digital autofocusing, programmed auto-exposure, autostrobe flash, auto white light balance and an LCD status screen. The camera allowed only field recording mode but allowed recording of 7 or 15 fields per second. Because the camera had no playback capability, Sanyo offered a recorder/playback device, a thermal printer and an image processor.
