At the CeBIT 2001 Fujitsu Siemens showcased two early prototypes. A pen cam style digital camera and a compact point-and-shoot digital camera. Fujitsu Siemens was rather known for personal computers and peripherals. The cameras were to be marketed in Germany mid 2001 but that never happened.
